Mumbai Hot Chocolate

6 oz. whole milk
6 oz. heavy cream
4 oz. milk chocolate, grated
3 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
7 cardamom pods (husks removed and ground)
chili flakes

 

Using the heating disk, add milk and cream to the frothing pitcher and press hot button.  After 3 min, remove the frother lid, add the remaining ingredients, and replace lid.  Wait for frother to shut off automatically. Pour into small cups and sprinkle with chili flakes.  (Serves 4)
